Hi! I’m Victoria (Tory) Sneden

I’m a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and 200HR Registered Yoga Teacher who has dedicated myself to helping my clients live longer and become stronger.

I believe that fitness is not one-size-fits-all and I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment to help you grow into the very best version of yourself.

Fitness is about so much more than building strength - it’s about uncovering and reclaiming your power, inside and out.

An athlete from the time I was a teenager (playing 13+ years of collegiate-track softball and volleyball!) along with a brief stint on the Rutger’s University Women’s Rugby Team…I hung up my gym bag in favor of a public relations career in Corporate America. Fast-forward a few years, a few promotions, a few pounds, and a high blood pressure diagnosis and I realized something had to give.

I rediscovered my love of fitness through distance running, strength training, and yoga and I managed to lose 30 pounds along the way. Now? I’m here to help YOU find the balance that is missing in your life.

I know what it feels like to have to start over again - and the struggle to feel strong, capable, and confident.

That’s why I created Root and Rise Fitness: to offer an affordable, accessible space for growth and empowerment with an emphasis on education.

Whether you are taking your first steps or chasing your next goal, my fitness programs meet you where you are and challenge you to rise to your fullest potential. You will learn how to lift safely, your limits and how to push beyond them, and most of all? You will learn how to love the journey along the way.

With a holistic approach to physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing, I will encourage you to grow into the YOU that you were always meant to be.

My focus is on helping you to feel your strongest. I do not emphasize the scale or calories burned. I will push you. I will challenge you. But most of all, I will CELEBRATE you and all of the incredible things you are capable of.
